KCI is looking for a natural resources project manager to lead ecology assessments and associated permitting out of our Columbia, South Carolina office. The ideal candidate will have experience in natural resource assessment and permitting work supporting transportation and infrastructure projects throughout the state, including familiarity with federal and state regulations. The individual will be expected to lead both field delineations and assessments as well as report preparation. This position offers the opportunity to step into a leadership role to develop additional ecology and natural resource permitting and assessment work. Additional experience in protected species surveys and stream and wetland mitigation and technical skills in GIS, GPS, survey, and drafting are a plus. This individual will have the support of our southeastern team, which includes roadway engineers, ecology field staff, mitigation specialists, NEPA staff, and water resource engineers. We're looking for someone who can build on existing relationships and is eager to start new ones both internally and externally and is comfortable working across disciplines and offices.
