The Professional Band -level Combustion Design Engineer will:Complete procedures, design templates, and other standard work methods using hand calculations, FEA, test data and good engineering judgement to justify designs against acceptance criteria. Design combustion systems to meet overall gas turbine product requirements. Support the design, analysis, and testing of advanced technology gas turbine combustion systems considering operability, emissions, reliability, and cost. Have some autonomy to make decisions with a defined framework. In addition, he/she will consult and seek support from more senior members when necessary to accomplish defined work/priorities. Effectively document and present results in formal and informal reviews. Protect the IP rights of the Company and agree to the overall business priorities: 1. Safety, 2. Quality, 3. Delivery, 4. Cost, and with priority ordered as such.
