Telecom Design Engineer (Data Centers)

Jacobs is seeking a Telecom Design Engineer to work on building projects including security, fire alarm, voice, data, audio/visual, and other low voltage systems in the United States.

Location: Anywhere in the United States (ideally near a Jacobs U.S. office).

Base pay range $85,000.00 $111,525.00 per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design of low voltage systems for building projects.
• Prepare engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site visits and review technical documents.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and clients.

Qualifications

• Technical or Associates Degree from an accredited institution.
• 4+ years of experience designing low voltage and communication systems for buildings.
• Knowledge of ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards.
• Experience with Revit software.
• Self?motivation to coordinate with disciplines and clients.

Preferred

• RCDD credential or working toward it.
• Electrical Engineering degree or related discipline.
