The Perfusionist is responsible for operating extracorporeal circulation equipment during any medical situation where necessary to support or replace a patient's cardiopulmonary, circulatory, or respiratory function. This role ensures the safe management of a patient's physiological and metabolic needs by maintaining adequate oxygenation, blood flow, and temperature control.

Licensing/Certification:
BLS certification is preferred upon hire and required within 30 days and/or prior to independent patient care
Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) credential from the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) (required)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Perfusion Technology or related field (required)
Master's degree (preferred)
Work Experience:
1 year of clinical patient care experience (preferred)
