Description:

Pacific International has been retained by a world-leading organization in the automotive and mobility industry. They are a heritage organization that is global in scale with headquarters in Europe (revenue c. $25bn).

Currently, they are seeking a Director-level hire for the North America region who will identify new strategic opportunities through financial insights and modelling for longer term planning. The role involves shaping the future strategy and roadmap to create organizational growth, investing into new spaces or maximizing existing go-to-market strategies, and delivering high-impact financial insights to senior leadership in North America and globally.

This role will help shape the companys financial strategy, drive commercial effectiveness, and provide financial insights to senior leadership.

  • Strategic Planning: Assist in long-term strategic planning through in-depth analysis and the development of business cases to support key corporate initiatives.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop, enhance, and maintain complex financial models, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
  • KPI Development: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with organizational goals, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads to drive financial discipline and influence decision-making, offering insights into cost drivers, profitability, and cash flow.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other functions (Sales, Operations, Marketing, etc.) to ensure financial alignment and support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related.
  • MBA or Masters degree.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, business intelligence, and financial systems.
  • Deep understanding of corporate finance and long-term business planning.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate financial insights effectively to executives.
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
