Serves as the principle administrative assistant to the Warden. Performs a wide variety of administrative and secretarial duties. Uses knowledge of office operations and general office procedures to make independent decisions concerning processing of information. Prepares general and special reports, correspondence, and policy and procedural directives relating to administrative functions. Plans, coordinates and directly supervises various special projects, programs and activities as directed by the Warden. Prepares yearly responses for all annual inspection reports. Operates PC/ CRT equipment in relation to various aspects of job responsibilities required. Directly supervises administrative specialists assigned to area. Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
