Description

Lead the preparation of detailed and accurate electrical cost estimates for complex

projects

Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive

bid packages

Manage supplier and subcontractor relationships to obtain optimal pricing and

performance

Evaluate technical data, cost trends, and risk assessments to support strategic decisions

Supervise and mentor junior estimators and assist in team development

Collaborate with project management, engineering, and executive leadership to align on

scope and cost objectives

Present estimates and proposals to clients and internal stakeholders with

professionalism and clarity

Conduct site visits and consultations as required for pre-construction assessments

Ensure estimates comply with current industry regulations and standards

Maintain thorough documentation and support audit and compliance processes

Requirements

Minimum 5- 7 years of experience in electrical estimating or a senior construction role

High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in Electrical Engineering,

Construction Management, or related field preferred

Familiarity with national electrical codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, etc.)

Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring or managing junior staff

Deep understanding of electrical systems, installation techniques, and cost analysis

Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Valid Driver's License

Must pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening, travel as needed
