Position
Sales Territory Manager, South Carolina The primary responsibility is the launch and sales of Recor Medical products and/or services to assigned accounts within the territory. The role is also responsible for increasing sales according to corporate objectives and reports to the Vice President, Sales, Southeast Region.
Responsibilities
- Launch Paradise (Ultrasound Denervation System), the first ever renal denervation product into the market
- Develop a launch account strategy and business plan to maximize device penetration
- Work through target accounts purchasing processes and VAC committees by building key account champions and presenting a strong value proposition
- Increase Recor Medical sales by developing new users and driving focus on high-volume HTxn prescribers and interventionalists
- Collaborate with a team, share case experiences, and help others overcome obstacles; meet or exceed sales objectives
- Participate in plans and campaigns, business plans, and product development plans, including therapy awareness programs
- Build partnerships with KOLs and other high-volume interventionalists in target accounts and convert them to commercial opportunities
- Develop clinical belief and confidence with R&D use among new and existing users, fellows, and support staff
- Set physician expectations before, during, and after a case by outlining what success looks like for physician, staff, and administration
- Anticipate challenges and coach physicians and staff through complex clinical situations
- Utilize corporate programs and resources to drive adoption with new and existing users
- Monitor consignment inventory and expiry dates within the territory
- Provide market intelligence to sales management and contribute to sales forecasts and strategies
- Negotiate all aspects of launching a new technology
- Deliver tools and resources to facilitate adoption, including customized training plans for physicians, administration, and staff
- Articulate clinical and economic value propositions and success stories to stakeholders
- Guide new users through the certification process
- Develop and manage administrative functions within the territory (time management, weekly call activity, expense reports, travel itineraries, territory coverage, trunk stock, and consignment inventory if provided)
- Operate the CRM (Salesforce) and maintain timely, accurate information for the company
- Adhere to customer account policies and procedures where applicable
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in science or business
- 7-10+ years of interventional cardiology device selling experience in a complex, highly clinical hospital setting
- Experience launching disruptive new technology in the cardiology space and successfully changing treatment algorithms
- Ability to sell premium products with a demonstrated record of selling clinical and economic value and overcoming adoption barriers with external customers
- Experience with interventional cardiologists, cath lab staff, purchasing directors, and hospital administration
- Comfort presenting clinical and economic data, interpreting trends, and presenting data to physicians, hospital executives, and other stakeholders
- Experience calling on multi-functional hospital stakeholders and building relationships with key thought leaders
- Complete mastery of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and interventional procedures
- Solid understanding of interventional products and competing products in the space
- Track record of success in varying business conditions and collaborative environments
- Experience providing clinical training and leadership; documented success training interventional cardiologists
- Strong sales planning, organization, and execution skills; ongoing self-development and mission focus
Salary
Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 (Annual Base Salary)

Employment for field-based roles is contingent upon successfully completing a pre-employment background check and drug screen to ensure integrity and accountability.
Radiation Safety Requirement
Some field-based roles involve work with radiation sources. A personal dosimetry badge is provided to monitor occupational exposure and must be worn per company policy and regulations. Training and protective equipment are provided as part of onboarding and ongoing safety programs. ALARA principles apply.
