Avionics Technician

  2025-11-09     RecruitMilitary Placement Services     Greer,SC
Description:

Join a growing company with a strong team culture and low turnover, where your skills and initiative are valued from day one.

The company is seeking skilled professionals with a strong team-player mentality to join their team in building gas turbine engines. This hands-on role involves interpreting blueprints, conducting detailed inspections, and performing precise adjustments to ensure engines are mission-ready. Success in this position requires discipline, technical expertise, and the ability to follow structured standard operating procedures.

Technicians will work within MOTOR to follow detailed instructions for engine teardown, inspection, and rebuild. The company's "crawl, walk, run" training approach provides a clear path for growth, allowing technicians to become experts across 19 different modules. No two days are the same, and the work is dynamic, offering continuous learning and development.

Ideal candidates will have formal technical training and experience with turbine engines. This role is especially well-suited for veterans who have obtained or trained for their A&P license. Experience on ETF 40B or T55 aligns. All necessary tools are provided, and the company offers opportunities for cross-training, professional development, and upward mobility.

This is a growing organization with a strong culture and minimal turnover, a place where your skills are valued and your growth is supported.
