As a Gearbox Mechanic / Service Technician you will:

• Refurbish Gearboxes according to drawing and blueprints.
• Assist with disassembly and inspection.
• Determine all damage to gear box and components needed to be replaced.
• Shipping and Receiving responsibilities.
• Perform field service work as required to meet customer requirements.
• Perform and supervise on-site work.
• Communicate in a professional manner to customers.
• Assist in job scheduling with Workshop Manager.
• Coordinate shop supplies with Workshop Manager.
• Coordinate tools and equipment maintenance with Workshop Manager.
• Assist with general shop cleaning.
• Assist with painting of gear units and components.
• Maintain a professional attitude in-house and off site.

As a Gearbox Mechanic / Service Technician you will be / have:

• 5 years mechanical work experience.
• Understanding of bearing and seal installation.
• Ability to analyze vibrations & gear failures.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Ability to use measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Prior forklift experience.
• Detailed oriented/organized.
• Self-Starter.
• Work independently or as a team player.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $27.00 - $35.00 Per Hour
