Location: Greenville, SC
Schedule: Full-Time, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday
Salary: $23 - $27 per hour
Carolina Nephrology, PA is a trusted kidney care provider in Upstate South Carolina, dedicated to delivering compassionate, high?quality care. Our Finance Department supports this mission through accurate and timely financial management.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Under direction of the Assistant Chief Financial Officer, manage accounts payable, including paper checks, bank ACH, vendor portal payments, and Ramp charges.
- Record all deposits, including ACH and paper deposits, into all accounts.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements for 11 entities.
- Prepare month?end, quarter?end, and year?end journal entries.
- Maintain electronic filing of all accounting data.
- Prepare compliance returns (sales tax, property tax, 1099s, etc.) and yearly city business licenses for Greenville, Greer, Easley, and other relevant cities.
- Assist the Assistant CFO in accounting for joint venture and real?estate entities.
- Support monthly accounting activity and month?end process for all 11 entities.
- Provide backup to Staff Accountant.
- Support and implement internal control processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
- High school diploma with 57 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate financial data clearly.
- Experience in a medical office or multi?entity environment preferred.
