Maintenance Tech/ Painter. Applies coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and/or protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of commercial, manufacturing, and industrial buildings, and other structures. Directs the activities of other workers associated with the painting operations Essential Duties & Responsibilities Maintain a safe and clean work area. Demonstrate basic safe work practices based on company and customer policies and procedures. Able to attend and pass certification and licensing classroom and practical training for rolling stock, such as forklifts, scissor lifts, articulating boom lifts, etc. Perform preventative/corrective work based on CMMS workorders and/or receives instructions from supervisor or customer regarding painting.
