Overview

The Financial Analyst Plant Operations is a key member of the plant finance team, supporting the Sr. Finance Manager (Plant Controller) to ensure accurate, timely, and transparent financial reporting, strong business partnership with plant functions, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

In alignment with the Vertiv Global Finance Three Broad Expectations framework, this role is accountable for:

• No Surprises: Producing complete and accurate financial information on time, maintaining effective internal controls, and communicating risks or issues immediately.


• Business Partnership: Acting as a trusted advisor to operations, supply chain, and engineering teamsproviding clear financial insights, challenging costs and investments, and supporting initiatives that drive plant profitability.


• Continuous Improvement: Leading and contributing to process improvements, leveraging Lean tools, and enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, and value of all finance deliverables.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.


• 35 years experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or FP&A.


• Strong analytical skills with ability to link operational data to financial performance.


• Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Very proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications.


• Strong organizational and project management skills.


• Confidence in challenging the status quo; always on the hunt for continuous improvement opportunities.


• The ability to go fast; the desire to help others go faster.


• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills.
