Primary Function

This will be responsible for the design, installation, and startup of process equipment and components. Candidates must have extensive design experience with demonstrated project management skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, installation, and startup processes for major equipment projects throughout the global organization.
• Coordinate with global manufacturing groups regarding new equipment design, tooling design, equipment installation, etc.
• Training and process documentation.
• Improve existing manufacturing processes.
• Coordination of preventative maintenance for laboratory equipment.
• Systematic problem solving skills.
• Process capability, PFMEA, SPC, GR&R and other quality tools.

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 7+ years of applicable experience.
• Must be proficient in SolidWorks and ACAD.
• Extensive experience in mechanical assembly and equipment troubleshooting.
• Proven skills in tooling design and fabrication.
• Capable of specifying automated process equipment.
• Must be self-motivated, able to work both independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
• Position could require some domestic and international travel working on projects related to the development, testing and evaluation of industrial equipment for production facilities.
