Job Summary
The Service Technician is responsible for providing high-quality mechanical service and product repair to meet customer needs. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic pumps, cylinders, mechanical gearboxes, and related components. The technician ensures timely and accurate service to minimize downtime and support customer operations effectively.
Job Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders
Diagnose and service mechanical gearboxes and related equipment
Perform hydraulic power unit fabrication and assist with basic electrical system work as needed
Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
Perform tube bending, machining, and welding tasks to support repair operations
Conduct both in-shop and field service repairs to meet customer requirements
Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
Support team operations and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment
Job Requirements
Proven experience in hydraulic pump, cylinder, and mechanical gearbox repair
Knowledge of hydraulic troubleshooting, schematic reading, and system diagnostics
Hydraulic power unit fabrication experience; basic electrical knowledge preferred
Welding and machinist experience required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
Work Experience
Prior experience in both repair shop and field service settings strongly preferred
