Maintain positive, progressive, and productive attitude toward plant targets and objectives regarding reliability, accountability, safety, integrity, quality, and productivity as a unified goal. Utilize the NCR process and 8 D approach to building quality into the processes including but not limited to: Internally Audit daily work activities within the organization to identify non-conformances in process that require sustained correction. Expeditiously Initiate, Manage-by-Priority, and Close out NCRs. Escalate repeated non-conformances or advanced level problems to QA Engineers. Ensures a quality product is passed through all stations. Identifies opportunities to build quality into the products and processes. Works closely with engineering, production, safety, vendors to ensure product compliance. Engage in any improvements which seek to drive the COPQ down. Supports Quality Engineering with root cause investigation and corrective action implementation.
