Position Summary
As a Field Service Engineer, you will apply your Naval Nuclear experience and discipline in a challenging, autonomous, and customer-focused environment. You will perform planned maintenance and emergency service on a wide range of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, battery banks (VRLA & flooded cell), and power quality equipment in mission-critical environments across the country.
This role is ideal for transitioning Electrician's Mates or Electronics Technicians from the Navy's Nuclear Program who are ready to apply their skills in a high-demand civilian career. You'll represent on the front lines with customers, solving problems, providing trusted expertise, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and remedial maintenance on UPS systems, battery systems (VRLA, flooded cell), and related power equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic equipment in real-time, both independently and in coordination with engineering support.
Interface directly with customers onsite and via phone to provide technical support and service updates.
Maintain detailed service records, field reports, and documentation in line with company procedures.
Travel regionally and nationally, sometimes on short notice, to meet customer needs (frequent air travel required).
Stay current on industry standards, safety protocols, and best practices.
Candidate Profile: Ideal for U.S. Navy Veterans
We are specifically seeking transitioning or recently separated U.S. Navy Nuclear-trained personnel, particularly from the Electrician's Mate (EM) or Electronics Technician (ET) ratings, who bring:

Qualifications
U.S. Navy Nuclear-trained EM or ET (Required)
High school diploma or equivalent (Technical A-school or advanced Navy training required; additional technical education a plus)
Valid driver's license and U.S. passport or ability to obtain one
Ability to travel frequently and be on call for emergency service (some weekends/holidays)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service mindset with high integrity and accountability
