Job Title: Associate Attorney- Defense

Location: Greenville, SC

Work Setup: 5 Days On-Site (No Flexibility)

About the Role:

Our client is a highly regarded insurance defense firm, is seeking 1–2 Attorneys to join their busy Greenville office. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated litigators looking to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong flow of cases and significant opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and independently handle a high-volume caseload of approximately 100 insurance defense matters.
• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
• Ensure compliance with billable hour requirements while delivering high-quality legal services.

Qualifications

• 2 to 10+ years of experience in insurance defense or related litigation.
• Licensed and in good standing with the South Carolina Bar
• Strong litigation, case management, and client communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume practice

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $140k-$210k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
