Responsible for completing work tickets, maintaining all workspaces throughout the facility, including the lobby, hallways and corridors, meeting areas, conference rooms, kitchens, storage spaces and the copy center.
Responsibilities:
Complete and close work tickets on a timely basis
Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on restrooms & pantries (i.e. leaky faucets, plumbing leaks)
Provide oversight of any contractors working on behalf of Building Operations (i.e. painters, carpet cleaners, window washers, landscapers)
Walk and inspect for lights out - Interior and exterior of the property
Walk Perimeter of Property addressing issues that need attention
Replace light bulbs and repair light fixtures when possible or determine if a contractor is needed
Inspect appliances looking for issues to address before problems occur
Hang whiteboards, signage and banners with the assistance of others as needed
Replace damaged carpet tiles
Maintain records of repairs and items of concern
Participate on emergency response team
Assist with completion of seasonal winterization preventive maintenance tasks for any external systems related to the building and grounds
Assist with completion of seasonal spring start-up preventive maintenance tasks for any external systems related to the building and grounds
Trouble shoot and repair refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing issues
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2-5 years' experience in the Facilities or Maintenance industry
Outstanding customer service skills
Basic computer skills in Word and Excel
Ability to lift items weighing 50 lbs.
Must be able to multi-task and document progress
Must be comfortable working on ladders at multiple heights
Respond to after-hours emergencies
