Description:

***DIRECT HIRE position in Greenville, SC, 4-5 days/ week onsite***

Who We're Looking For
The Agency is looking for a junior developer whoe's ready to be a mid-level developer (2-5 years experience with Python). We want someone who loves building things that make life easier-whether that's moving data around, connecting systems, or automating the boring stuff. If you're a Python fan who can also dabble in JavaScript, curious about ETL/ELT tools, and not afraid of the command line, we'd like to talk.

What You'll Do

  • Build ETL/ELT pipelines (sometimes with Python, sometimes with tools like Apache NiFi).
  • Write API clients and integrations to connect systems that don't naturally talk to each other.
  • Create lightweight web apps to help people get data where they need it.
  • Automate repetitive processes so our team can focus on more important work.
  • Work in Linux and Docker environments (don't worry, we'll help you get comfortable if you're new).
What We Value
  • 2-5 years of experience writing production-ready Python.
  • Comfort with basic JavaScript (or willingness to learn fast).
  • Solid problem-solving instincts-you like to figure out how things work.
  • Curiosity. You'll be learning new tools and technologies regularly.
  • Self-starting attitude-you see a problem and want to fix it.
Bonus Points For
  • Experience with Docker or containerized environments.
  • Familiarity with ETL frameworks (NiFi, Airflow, etc.).
  • Experience working in industrial or utility data environments.
  • Can embrace and create solutions architectures

Why You'll Like Working Here
You'll get to work on a variety of projects-never just one thing on repeat. We'll encourage you to explore new tools and approaches. You'll be part of a team that values curiosity, creativity, and getting things done.
