JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Warehouse/Receiving in Fountain Inn. Our client is a adhesives manufacturing facility. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the following, additional duties may be assigned.

Shift
1st Shift - 8:30am-5pm Monday - Thursday

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, oversee, participate in all receiving related operations for all materials and components in Fountain Inn's warehouse
• Perform all these responsibilities in a timely manner; train and provide work direction to area personnel.
• Ensures all materials are staged accurately and correctly for production
• Ensures all transactions associated with receiving of any and all materials to stock are accurate
• Assure that the receiving, stock and warehouse facilities are maintained in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
• Communicate with various personnel and departments to provide all information, resolve questions and issues, and coordinate activities as it relates to the receiving area.
• Ensure that maintenance of records, files and reports are accurately and timely kept.
• Operate a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles; utilize a variety of hand tools as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate and two years increasingly responsible experience in a warehouse facility.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds
• Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases

ADDITIONAL NOTES Failure to effectively perform in this position could result in: production shutdowns and out of stock situations. Lost opportunities to manufacture products due to lack of raw materials.
