Operations Construction Manager

Our employee-owned company has immediate full-time openings for a Director, Operations in Greenville, SC. This position offers the opportunity to work across diverse market sectors while being part of an amazing and growing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning & Forecasting
* Forecast weekly activities-what will be done, when, and by whom.
* Analyze and forecast factors that affect results to maximize efficiency.
* Develop and implement programs, strategies, and supervisory structures.
* Assist in creating company one-year and three-year business plans.
* Decision-Making & Leadership
* Facilitate weekly decisions to allocate manpower, tools, and resources.
* Lead by example, communicate frequently, and ensure smooth department operations.
* Provide overall leadership to the branch while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
* Talent Management
* Assist with interviewing and hiring new employees.
* Manage employee job performance through coaching, appraisals, and discipline when necessary.
* Conduct timely performance evaluations in accordance with company policies.
* Support continuing education for employees, meeting minimum required training hours.
* Resource Sharing & Industry Engagement
* Share manpower, resources, and tools across branches as needed.
* Represent the company within the local community and industry/trade organizations.
* Take on leadership roles to strengthen the company's reputation as an industry leader.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Sciences, Engineering (Mechanical, Building Science, etc.) or related discipline OR a Journeyman background (required).
* Minimum 10 years' experience in contracting, engineering, construction management, or related field.
* Proven management experience leading a team of 5-10 individuals.
* Prior experience in the electrical or construction field strongly preferred.
* Positive safety attitude and uncompromising personal integrity (non-negotiable).
* Ability to work effectively with customers and service their needs.
* Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to apply practical solutions.
* Self-starter with solid work ethic and ambition to advance.
* Decisive, proactive communicator with strong leadership presence.
* Trusted by both employees and customers-demonstrating the ability to serve.
