Overview

Temporary Systems Engineer, Systems & Infrastructure Administrator (Bilingual: English/Spanish) role at KPMG US. Nine-month assignment within the Digital Nexus technology organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of server infrastructure hosting Enterprise Applications running Windows and Linux operating systems
• Resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; interface with business clients and technology staff to implement solutions that meet business needs and addresses impact of new or revised applications on existing infrastructure; including the installation and testing of new enterprise system software and hardware releases
• Work directly with users to prioritize requests and frequently update users to inform them of progress and estimated delivery timeframe
• Coordinate support escalation communication; participate in the development and maintenance of project technical documentation including design, configuration, installation
• Coordinate end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management and escalation processes; provide on-call support, including off hours and weekend support in a production environment
• Provide patching operations support to Latin America member firms

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent experience operating in a large enterprise environment; technical skills in Windows Server and Linux; working knowledge of SANs
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; full fluency in both English and Spanish is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies including IIS, Microsoft Cluster Service, Certificates and PowerShell; experience with VMware VSphere and Cisco UCS platform administration is a plus; strong troubleshooting using Windows OS tools (Event Logs, Perfmon, NetSH, PowerShell)
• Ability to automate routine tasks with PowerShell, Python; experience deploying software across the server estate
• Experience with Datadog, SCOM, Qualys, and Service Now is a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future
