Also, to interface directly with the customer and with quality engineers, supplier quality engineers, technical specialists, quality technicians and quality associates. What you can look forward to as a Plant Quality Engineer: Coordinate the quality efforts related to APQP for new projects. Coordinate quality technician priorities and activities as necessary. Coordinate 8 Ds and corrective actions to customers. Point of contact with customer. Maintain the customer complaints and reaction times. Track and monitor the status of the supplier non-conformances and report to the customer as required. Monitor Engineering Change Requests. Your profile as a Plant Quality Engineer: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 1-3 years of related experience. Must be able to communicate effectively with many layers of customer representatives.
