Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000

Training Completion Bonus: $2,000*

*Training bonuses are paid in two equal payments: the first at the time of training completion and the second 30 days later. To be eligible for each bonus payment, you must remain employed.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Complete all training requirements including the Zaxbys General Manager Development Plan and Operations Excellence Capstone Class.
  • Obtain Food Safety Certification and Manager Certification.
  • Ensure that the restaurant consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and retain top talent while fostering their professional growth.
  • Create effective work schedules to optimize sales and manage labor costs.
  • Plan and delegate tasks, communicating expectations clearly and adapting as necessary.
  • Uphold service, product quality, and cleanliness standards consistently.
  • Foster a positive team culture and lead by example for creating a motivating work environment.
  • Drive profitability through strategic sales growth and cost management.
  • Establish community relationships to enhance sales and guest satisfaction.
  • Adhere to Zaxbys guidelines and ensure compliance with relevant laws and policies.
  • Review performance metrics daily and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Handle guest and team member concerns proactively and respectfully.
  • Encourage a safe workplace by following all safety protocols.
  • Perform other duties to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
  • Open availability and the ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of a background check and motor vehicle report.
  • Strong leadership qualities and organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • 3-5 years management experience required; restaurant management preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb, including using ladders.
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Continuous use of hands for grasping and fine manipulation tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to observe and respond to the environment appropriately.
  • Comfortable working in hot and cold temperature variations and exposure to food allergens.
  • Safe operation of restaurant equipment.
