Oversees and directs the location's warehousing function including receiving, stocking, load building, customer service and deliveries. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees and coordinates receiving of all incoming merchandise; insures all merchandise is accurately and efficiently counted, documented, unloaded and stored or distributed to proper location. Oversees the safe and efficient handling of goods by employees operating forklifts or other machinery ensuring that employees receive the proper training and certification, if necessary. Oversees and coordinates periodic inventory checks; prepares merchandise orders to ensure that identified stock levels meet merchandising requirements at all times; maintains record keeping system to provide immediate access to current stock information when needed. Checks sales invoices and assigns yard or warehouse workers to assemble and load merchandise in customer's vehicle, ensuring correct load building.
