Adelphi is seeking Special Education Teachers to serve in Greenville County, South Carolina, providing specialized instruction and support for students with learning disabilities and multi-categorical needs. Openings are available at both the middle and elementary school levels.

Job Quick Facts: BD-1056-03 Location: Greenville County, South Carolina Job Type: Contract Facility Type: Elementary & Middle Schools Shift Schedule: 40 hours per week (full-time) or 20 hours per week (half-time, depending on assignment) Start Date: ASAP Rate: $30/hr Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Valid South Carolina Teaching Certificate (or eligibility to obtain) Special Education endorsement/certification for Learning Disabilities (LD) or Multi-categorical (multi-categorical preferred; LD acceptable) Completion of a teacher preparation program with student teaching Background check and fingerprinting clearance Responsibilities: Adapt and deliver instruction to meet each student's unique needs and IEP goals Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs in compliance with IDEA and SC state standards Monitor and assess student progress using data-driven instruction Collaborate with general education staff to promote inclusion and accessibility Attend IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions Maintain organized and accurate records of student performance and services provided Employ a variety of instructional strategies and tools, including technology, to enhance learning Support the emotional, social, and academic development of students with disabilities Contribute to school-wide initiatives and special projects as assigned Any other duties as assigned.
