Location: Greer, SC
Pay: $20+/hour, Depending on Experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:50 AM to 3:00 PM
Assignment Length: Approximately 90 days (Temporary Assignment)

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Sit-Down Counterbalance Forklift Operator for a metal fabrication environment in Greer, SC. This is a high-heat, fast-paced setting where safety and attention to detail are critical.

This position involves operating a forklift 90% of the time, with some physical tasks including standing, bending, and working in tight or uneven spaces as needed.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of forklift experience (plant or manufacturing environment preferred - not warehouse)
• Experience in metal fabrication or high-heat plastics environments preferred
• Must be safety-minded and able to work in physically demanding conditions
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Strong, consistent work history with verifiable experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift in a high-heat environment
• Maneuver in tight areas and on uneven surfaces
• Assist with general labor tasks as needed (bending, standing, lifting)
• Follow all plant safety protocols and procedures
