Responsible for full inventory management of perioperative supplies utilizing Pyxis, Workday, and/or Optiflex. Provide surgical staff with specialty item needs, tracking, reports, and bill-only requisitions. May direct departmental operations. Essential Functions. Manages supply inventory as assigned by reviewing storage areas and usage daily. Orders both routine and specialty products, coordinating and verifying their tracking, receiving, and stocking. Utilizes Opti. Plex, Workday, and/or Pyxis materials management programs. Performs case pick process, determined by Picklist, to include scheduled and add-on cases in an accurate and timely manner. Maintains departmental phone to expedite supplies needed and return unused supplies to inventory.
