Job Details

Perform functional and acceptance testing of electrical switchgear systems including low and medium voltage breakers, protective relays, C - Ts, P - Ts, and associated control circuitry. Conduct performance tests such as contact resistance, insulation resistance (megger), high potential (hipot), timing tests, and relay calibration. Troubleshoot and correct wiring, mechanical, and control issues using wiring diagrams, schematics, and test equipment. Verify proper operation of interlocks, safety devices, and control logic. Complete and maintain accurate test reports, inspection records, and startup documentation. Interpret technical drawings and documentation including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and product specifications. Ensure equipment meets all safety and performance standards before release or installation. Provide support during field installation, commissioning, or service visits as needed.
