The PACE Driver operates under the direction of the Supervisor, PACE Transportation and is responsible for the direct transportation of physically limited passengers to and from various destinations. Position requires constant interaction with caregivers and community agencies. Serve with compassion. Be the difference Responsible for operating specially equipped vehicles, assisting participants with varying levels of mobility, and supporting overall participant safety. Operates vans equipped with wheelchair lifts to transport participants safely and on schedule. Assists participants with loading/unloading, operates wheelchair lifts, and secures wheelchairs and mobility devices using appropriate tie-downs.
