Mechanical Equipment Company is seeking an experienced Welder & Pipefitter for their Simpsonville, SC Fabrication Shop. Mechanical Equipment Company operates a fabrication shop for the production of custom fire pump skids & buildings, heat transfer skids, and booster pump skids. The Fabrication Shop typically operates on a first shift basis, 4 x 10Hr/day/Week. The fabrication work is usually done in the Simpsonville facility, however day trips to customer locations in support of our service/startup activities are fairly common, and overnight trips occur occasionally. Weld:

Structural Steel

Pipe, CS & SS

Fit:

Welded pipe

Threaded pipe

Assemble:

Equipment Skids containing: piping, pumps, heat exchangers, valves, buildings, enclosures, instrumentation and controls.

Job Requirements:

High School education or equivalent

Minimum of 5 years applicable work experience
