Overview

BD Executive | Metric Geo | Heavy Civil Construction. Metric Geo is partnering with a national construction company to hire a Construction Project Manager with a background in civil or structural engineering. This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role, managing field execution, civil and structural oversight, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to spec.

This role focuses on landmark bridge projects that connect communities and stand the test of time. If you thrive in the field, can confidently interpret engineering drawings, and enjoy leading teams to deliver complex infrastructure, this opportunity is for you.

Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

What You'll Do

• Lead on-site bridge construction activities: foundations, grading, concrete, and structural steel installation.
• Interpret and implement engineering drawings, blueprints, and project specs.
• Coordinate across engineering, fabrication, and logistics to ensure smooth mobilization.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and keep projects on schedule.
• Enforce safety standards and compliance with OSHA protocols.
• Represent the company with subcontractors, inspectors, and clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation: RFIs, redlines, inspection reports, daily logs.
• Support project close-out: punch lists, as-builts, client walkthroughs.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of heavy civil or structural construction experience.
• Proven ability to lead crews and subcontractors.
• Expertise in civil works, foundations, grading, concrete, and steel.
• Strong communicator who can manage both field crews and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to job sites across the Southeast.
• OSHA 10/30 preferred.
