Supervise Maintenance Personnel toward the ultimate objective of uninterrupted plant operations and support of capital improvement projects.

Must be willing to work off shift hours.

Key Activities:

• Responsible for the implementation of the work order, Preventive Maintenance and Supply Room programs.
• Responsible for site utilities maintenance activities and personnel at two locations. Responsible for efficient and effective maintenance support of plant utilities.
• Responsible for HVAC systems.
• Responsible for assuring that sufficient levels of equipment spare parts, stored fuels, chemicals and other operating supplies are maintained to prevent extended downtime.
• Provides supervision and work assignments of all Maintenance Personnel.
• Provides interface with Production Personnel toward the optimum scheduling of equipment shutdown/overhaul. Co-ordinates work with outside contractors where required. Responsible that all routine safety and fire inspections are performed. Maintains maintenance work order backlog at desired levels.
• Supervise Maintenance Personnel toward the ultimate objective of uninterrupted plant operations and support of capital improvement projects.
• Responsible for efficient and effective maintenance support of plant operations to include utility equipment, buildings, grounds and fire protection system. Upkeep of all Greenville assets.
• Supervise/direct activities in support of preventive and predictive maintenance activities

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Business with two-year AAS Engineering degree and appropriate work experience.

Experience: Minimum of eight years working experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a highly technical environment. Some experience/exposure in pharmaceutical operations or sterile environment desirable.

Special Skills:

• Strong verbal and writing skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards.
• Sound background in electrical building and maintenance techniques.
• Electronic and controls background.
• Familiar with all major utility and support type equipment.
• Must be able to think quickly and make decisions during periods of high stress.
