Estimator

We have a client in the Aiken, SC that has an immediate need for an Estimator. Founded in 2003, our client strives to meet the ever-increasing demand for specialized professional services in the private and public sector. They provide professional consulting, technical consulting and staff support services to the A/E, Environmental and construction industries for government and commercial projects - both domestic and international.

Estimator will use state-of-the-art software to produce clear, concise cost estimates. You will have access to updated databases of costs for a wide range of environmental, construction, manufacturing, waste management and related applications. The reports you provide will include everything a customer needs to proceed and succeed.

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and minimum five (5) years of work-related experience
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal (including Department of Energy orders), state, and local codes and standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to project management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Intermediate knowledge of discipline codes and standards
  • Ability to perform work in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal codes, statutes and guidelines
  • Intermediate computer and software skills to include proficiency in the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programs
  • Experience providing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services on commercial or industrial projects
  • Proficiency executing EPC projects utilizing engineering analysis, 3D modeling and 2D computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) automation tools in a multi-discipline environment

Pay Rate: $50 - $55/hr Terms: 6 months temp-to-perm
