About the Role:

As a Seasonal Tax Service Associate, you will work on-site at a TurboTax location, providing in-person and virtual assistance using Intuit TurboTax products. Your role includes delivering high-quality tax return preparation, personalized tax advice, and software support. Your ability to understand each customer's unique situation is essential in alleviating their tax-related stress. Whether it's simple W2 filings, life events like marriage or children, or complex tax scenarios involving business income, amendments, or investments, you'll be the trusted expert for your clients.

Additionally, you'll play an important role in expanding TurboTax's presence in the community by establishing long-term relationships and fostering customer loyalty. We provide you with the resources and support necessary for your success.

What You'll Do:

• Provide Tax Expertise: Offer comprehensive tax advice and preparation services for TurboTax clients, addressing both simple and complex tax situations. Utilize available resources to deliver accurate tax solutions in clear language.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: Cultivate a customer base for TurboTax by actively engaging with the community, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term clients through local events.
• Educate and Communicate Confidently: Represent TurboTax enthusiastically in your community by hosting informative events and creating accessible tax-related content.
• Build Relationships: Connect with clients, demonstrate empathy towards their financial concerns, and establish trust to convert one-time transactions into lasting relationships.
• Deliver a Best-in-Class Customer Experience: Aim for exceptional service, professionalism, and a genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals while addressing their inquiries through both in-person and video communication.

Who You Are:

• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law.
• Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns annually.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to work a minimum of 24 hours per week at a TurboTax location.
• Interested in creating community-focused tax content.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond simple filing.
