We are hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, for a manufacturer of high-performance glass-ceramic surfaces used in homes and professional kitchens worldwide.   • B Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:30 PM - 3:30 AM, additional $0.75/hour for shift differential
  • Hourly Pay: $26 - $28 (based on experience)
What You'll Be Doing:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing all facility equipment.
  • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
  • Performs highly diversified duties to install, upgrade and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
  • Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs as needed around plant.
  • Support plant safety by sustaining 6S and BBS and complies with OSHA safety and health rules.
  • Reads and interprets equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Perform regular preventative and predictive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facility.
  • May perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
  • Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
What We're Looking For:

  • 4+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, HVAC and industrial equipment.
  • Experience with PLCs is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and ISO/QS standards.
  • Familiarity with air compressors, air dryers, and CMMS systems is a bonus.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
