Overview

Key Accounts Director (Remote) at CrowdStrike. The Key Accounts Director directly sells enterprise security software, managed services and consulting solutions across the breadth of CrowdStrikes portfolio. This role develops and owns the relationship within assigned accounts and maximizes CrowdStrikes revenue and footprint within them. Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, Partner Alliances, Finance, Customer Support) and external partners (Global System Integrators, Technology Alliance Partners, Channel Partner firms).

What Youll Do

  • Expand sales within existing and/or new accounts while building relationships with key decision makers.
  • Develop and execute a strategic and comprehensive business plan for each account, identifying core customer requirements and mapping CrowdStrikes solutions to business needs.
  • Document customer contact and activity data in CRM/marketing software (names, titles, contact information, opportunity value, product information, sales stages, etc.).
  • Be accountable for accurate forecasting, quarterly revenue delivery, and implementation of account and business plans.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop an effective plan for the accounts, including events and roadmap sessions.
  • Promote CrowdStrikes products, maximize brand recognition and mindshare, and publicize success stories.
  • Provide customer feedback to internal stakeholders for product, systems, and process improvements.
  • Maintain deep subject matter expertise in selling CrowdStrikes products and services; manage assignments with large/complex accounts.
  • Interact regularly with senior customer executives and CXO-level decision makers.

What Youll Need
  • Advanced level of expertise in field sales and account development; demonstrable track record of overachieving sales goals.
  • Deep security industry knowledge with the ability to articulate how CrowdStrike addresses customer challenges.
  • Confidence and experience with presentations, customer service, financial/business acumen, and negotiation at senior levels.
  • Deep understanding of assigned accounts including business objectives and executive personas.
  • Authoritative leadership by example and ability to mentor others in consultative effectiveness.
  • Thorough knowledge of sales methodologies, security software solutions, and company products.

Education & Experience
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of relevant professional experience.

Location

This role is open to qualified candidates located in CA, AZ, CO, WA (Western US states).
