Job Summary

PeopleShare is hiring Warehouse Associates for immediate, temp-to-hire employment! This role involves essential warehousing activities, including receiving, handling, storing, recording, and dispatching incoming and outgoing goods. Associates will execute operations like packing, storage, replenishment, picking, loading, and dispatching in a safe and efficient manner. Experience with power equipment is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates!

• Job Title: Warehouse Associate
• Pay Rate: To be discussed upon application (Immediate Employment)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Overtime is rare)
• Location: Specific location details available upon application
• Work Environment Note: The warehouse is heated in the winter but does not have air conditioning in the summer. There is an air-conditioned storeroom where some order pulling takes place.

• Execute key warehousing tasks including picking, packing, and pulling orders.
• Accurately load and unload shipments, performing checks for damage and discrepancies.
• Move, sort, label, and store goods and merchandise on racks and shelves to optimize warehouse space.
• Operate warehouse equipment like a sit-down forklift, cherry picker, and reach truck (experience preferred, but training is provided).
• Maintain accurate stock records by entering and retrieving data in the computer system (ERP/SxE).
• Follow all warehouse safety regulations and standards, including the requirement to wear steel toe shoes.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion, and perform physical tasks like standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
• Steel toe shoes are required for this position.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred (including forklift/power equipment operation), but we are willing to train reliable candidates.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a safety-minded approach to all tasks.
• Basic computer proficiency and/or a technical aptitude to learn warehouse management systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated to complete assigned tasks.
