This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Spartanburg Area Mental Health Center, 250 Dewey Ave., Spartanburg SC 29303. The Office of Mental Healths mission is to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses. We provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina. Under general supervision, and the Mental Health Professional, of the School Mental Health Coordinator/ CAF Director/ Clinic Director, you will perform direct School Mental Health Services in designated schools within Spartanburg School District 1. You will provide a therapeutic program including prevention and early intervention with youth at risk for social, emotional, and/or academic difficulties.
