Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Admissions, the Admissions Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating admissions and recruitment strategies for the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities and an assigned art discipline. The Admissions Coordinator develops, plans, and executes admissions events and activities. The Admissions Coordinator receives, processes, and responds to prospective students, applications, and families. Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Admissions develops and implements discipline-specific recruitment strategies, events, and marketing. Develops and maintains strong relationships with district arts coordinators, arts and ELA teachers, school counselors, and other influencers. Schedules visits and represents the SCGSAH at school visits, career fairs, community organizations and other events to ensure strong general recruitment for the school.
