What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Initiate and nurture prospects via telephone and in-person to generate sales opportunities
- Maintain meticulous records of interactions with prospects in the CRM and track outreach activities weekly
- Build a robust funnel of new accounts and provide regular updates and forecasts to Sales Leadership
- Participate in national and regional tradeshows with thorough preparation and action plans
- Engage in high-level presentations of the employer's software offerings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of outside sales experience
- 5+ years of experience working in the telecom industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
- Self-starter with a hunter attitude and a growth mindset
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative and cohesive team-based environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience traveling 50% or more, requiring overnight stays several times per month
- Strong capability of building meaningful relationships with clients
