Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with Level 1 trauma and Epic EMR experience for a night shift contract.
Responsibilities
- Work in a trauma-level 1 hospital setting
- Position involves MRI imaging in a specialized radiology/cardiology department
- Night shift schedule: 3x12s, Thursday through Saturday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Patient population includes critical and trauma cases
- Travelers may be required to float to other qualified units or campuses as needed
- Experience with Epic EMR is required
- Flexible contract lengths from 13 to 20 weeks are available for holiday coverage
- Travelers must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major holidays as applicable
- Time off is not permitted from December 26th to 31st
- Radius requirement: Must live at least 50 miles from the flagship hospital; under 50 miles is ineligible
- Pre-assignment modules must be completed prior to start, with reimbursement available for up to 16 hours
- Orientation takes place every Monday

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist in a trauma level 1 environment
- Current BLS certification required
- At least 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- License required if applicable
