Depending upon the desired qualifications of the successful applicant, the hiring manager may elect to fill this position at a lower level within the job hierarchy. This position is responsible for negotiation and acquisition of real estate rights in support of Transmission system needs. They will use advanced negotiating strategies to facilitate the acquisition process for various land rights, including easements, fee simple purchases, leases, encroachments, releases and other types of property interests needed to develop, operate and maintain the Companys facilities. The candidate must be familiar with researching public land records to assess ownership and identify any title exceptions. They will work in collaboration with landowners, attorneys, public officials, engineers, and others in gaining land rights to support company projects and customer requests. Responsibilities.
