Job DescriptionJob Description1.0 Position Summary

This position is responsible for assisting with facility and equipment maintenance as related to the chemical stripping operation.

2.0 Primary Functions

2.1 Perform maintenance on all equipment as instructed.
2.2 Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed in a prompt and accurate manner.
2.3 Perform preventive maintenance activities on a regular basis.
2.4 Work safely and adhere to all safety protocols.
2.5 Communicate clearly and effectively with leadership and team members.
2.6 Understand and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
2.7 Work as needed to ensure the facility and equipment remain operational.

3.0 Additional Duties

3.1 Take a proactive approach to spare parts management and machine uptime.
3.2 Perform strip line operator duties when maintenance tasks are complete.
3.3 Train as needed on new machines and/or processes.
3.4 Perform any other duties as assigned.

4.0 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

4.1 Ability to bend, twist, climb, stoop, or stand.
4.2 Ability to spend time sitting at a desk or workstation.
4.3 Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
4.4 Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
4.5 Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
4.6 Maintain a clean working environment.
4.7 Natural mechanical aptitude.
4.8 Understanding of proper safety practices and use of required PPE.
4.9 An essential function for this position, based on business necessity, is that the employee must be physically in attendance at his/her workstation at the designated company office location during normal business hours.

5.0 Working Conditions

This position is performed indoors, 100% of the time, in a non-climate-controlled environment.
