Job Details

Performs plumbing maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, operational functions, and new work to support the engineering functions at GMMC. Documents all work as required. Essential Functions. Repairs valves, fixtures and fittings in heating and drainage. Repair heat exchangers, removes and replaces coils, replaces valves and associated equipment on steam systems. Replaces washers, faucets and broken pipes; solders or caulks leads, opens clogged drains. Maintains and repairs sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters, and other plumbing fixtures. Performs scheduled tests to comply with JCAHO, DHEC and other standards. Achieves 90% required attendance at training classes. Performs preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and records appropriately.
