As the automation specialist supporting a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility, you will drive asset reliability, reduce downtime, and ensure equipment compliance with IATF 16949 standards. You will lead proactive maintenance initiatives, facilitate root cause analysis (RCA), and support injection molding and automated assembly systemsincluding robotics, conveyors, and servo-driven equipment. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: Monitor and improve asset performance indicators: MTBF, MTTR, OEE. Lead failure investigations and corrective actions (5-Why, Fishbone/ Ishikawa). Analyze downtime trends and prioritize reliability/improvement initiatives. Champion predictive maintenance (vibration, thermography, oil analysis). Optimize preventive maintenance using RCM principles. Partner with planners to ensure CMMS accuracy, BOMs, and effective schedules.
