Project Manager - Manufacturing/Engineering firm
Location: Greenville, SC
Pay: $150-185K
Schedule: Hybrid
Our client is a growing Engineering Construction firm and is seeking an experienced Project Manager.

What you get to do:

  • Manage all aspects of business projects from inception through execution
  • Develop and document the engineering scope of work
  • Review and manage all project deliverables across all engineering disciplines
  • Secure resources needed for team to execute work effectively (i.e. drawings, reports, site visits, etc.)
  • Understand project success criteria and ensure client expectations are met
  • Develop and track project costs
  • Identify and communicate changes to SOW
  • Identify and effectively respond to clients issues and needs
  • Ensure value is provided to the client and develop & earn their trust
  • Ensure the clients policies and procedures are communicated and followed by the project team
  • Ensure PO's are received from the client before work begins and ensure services are rendered within the approved budget; also ensure invoices are paid timely
  • Anticipate future work associated or derived from ongoing projects
  • Travel 30% to the client site to interface with the project team

What you need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering or relevant Project Management experience
  • Project Management experience on Engineering Projects
  • Knowledge of front-end engineering and detailed engineering process
  • Proven Customer Account Manager with experience in developing opportunities within existing clients
  • Demonstrated experience in driving projects within budget from initiation through a successful and timely conclusion
  • Coordinate and supervise project implementation, control project costs, monitor progress and quality of the projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and foster positive client relationships
  • Perform activities to improve the reliability and efficiency of operations
  • PMP certification (desired, but not required)
  • Experience in the Food & Beverage, Pulp & Paper, and Consumer Products industries
