As a Remote School Psychologist serving students across Florida, you'll deliver comprehensive teletherapy services for K-12 learners, including assessments, counseling, and consultation. You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster supportive, inclusive learning environmentsall from the comfort of your home.

Remote School Psychologist, Florida

Start Date: August 2025

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Florida educators and families to identify students needing academic, emotional, or behavioral support.
  • Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations using a variety of assessment tools, record reviews, and interviews.
  • Prepare clear, comprehensive evaluation reports in alignment with Florida state, federal, and district timelines.
  • Share findings and recommendations in a collaborative, student-focused manner.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans tailored to each student's strengths and needs.
  • Provide individual or group counseling through secure teletherapy platforms.
  • Participate in virtual IEP meetings, offering professional input to guide services and accommodations.
  • Deliver timely crisis intervention and support when necessary.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust services using data-driven insights.
  • Stay up to date on best practices and Florida-specific legal requirements through ongoing professional learning.

Qualifications

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Active Florida School Psychologist certification/licensure.
  • Minimum of 2 years of school-based experience preferred.
  • Strong skills in assessment, IEP development, counseling, and collaboration.
  • Comfortable and confident with teletherapy tools and digital communication.
  • Dedicated to equity, inclusion, and student-centered practices.

Technology Requirements

  • Reliable high-speed internet.
  • Desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks and tablets not supported).
  • Ability to pass a brief tech screening for platform compatibility.
