Job Details

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the quality produced in series production
• Ensure the use of quality improvement programmes and monitoring the product quality and scrap rate: error analyses, Continuous Improvement Process (Scrap Problem Solving), tracking remedial and improvement measures as specified by the QM
• Draw up and implementing local BU quality standards in coordination with BU Production Quality (quality-related work instructions, list of limit samples, etc.)
• Advise and train the technical departments in all matters relating to quality
• Assist the technical department with customer audits for the Business Unit, incl. monitoring the remedial measures
• Initiate and coordinating the 8D process, incl. the associated internal documentation and the customer portals
• Train the production team in quality related issues, i.e. use of SAP QM, work instructions, quality philosophy etc
• Report KPIs in the assigned area
• Carry out audits (multi-shift audits, process audits, 5S audits, LPA, etc.)
• Assist the technical department with PFMEA
• Other duties, as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience in quality engineering or a related role in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory standards
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
